Our Design Process:

No one wants to buy something they didn't really want, and that goes for a web site design too! That is why our design focus is centered around capturing your requirements from the very first step.

Stage One - First Meeting:
The first meeting, be it online via email or face to face, happens before your commit to us for the project. At this meeting we review our design process and interview you on the following subjects: your core business, the intent for your new site, ideas you like and dislike, and more.

This meeting allows you to get to know us and our design procedures and decide if we are the right choice for your company. Not every web designer is the right choice for what you have in mind, we'll help you decide if we can provide what you want!

Finally, the first meeting outlines clearly what you can expect from us as the process continues towards completion. That way there will be no unexpected surprises.

Stage Two - Rough Drafts
After we have captured the clients initial requirements for their site and their "likes and dislikes" we create a few concept pieces. These can be viewed online on our internal customer site. You can leave comments with the concept pieces or we can meet again and review the direction you want to go.

Stage Three - Design Completion
Once the design has been decided on we continue to post progress screen shots to our internal customer site. This way you can monitor the progress of the site and provide additional feedback as needed.

Stage Four - Content Completion
A web site design does not stop at the actual graphics. A graphic is no good if there is not content to go with it. At this stage we create your actual site and you can start seeing it online with the content you requested.

Stage Five - Project Completion
The final stage brings everything together. This is where we make minor tweaks to your site to optimize it and help you start spreading the news by registering your web site with major search engines. Furthermore, this is where we sit down and teach you how to use and maintain your web site yourself. What is the use of a new gadget if you don't know how to use it! We don't want to leave people with a lost feeling, we want to leave people with the feeling they have a great new tool they know how to use like an expert. This is also why we provide web site support via email and phone for your newly created site.

Free Script Integration for Shopping Carts and Content Management
There are two types of programs many sites use. The first is content management. Content management lets you login to your web site and update the content for a page without needing to know any HTML. If your site doesn't currently use this than you're missing out!

The second type of program a site often uses are shopping cart programs. Shopping carts allow you to use your site for eCommerce. We currently use Zen Cart which is an open source program and free. But we do support and will install other off the shelf shopping cart programs. We just like Zen Cart because of it's wonderful configurability and its general ease of use.

You may want a little bit more out of your site. Perhaps you would like your customers to be able to login to your site and view digital items you've posted for them, or who knows what. Our normal rate for custom programming is $75 an hour, but if you order programming through us with a web design package we'll discount it to $60 an hour.

Access To Our Internal Customer Site to Monitor Your Projects Status
We use a Customer Client Access site so that you can view your project from start to completion. This site lets you see your project grow and allows you to leave comments on it as well.

Search Engine Optimization and Search Engine Registration
Once your web site is completed and online we'll register you with the top search engines so they'll look at your sight sooner and of course during the design process we take into account search engine optimization.

Six Months (6) of Web Site Support
Just because a project is complete does not mean you don't have anymore questions! That's why we give you six months (6) of support for your new web site. We'll fix any bugs in the programming, fix any browser render errors, and answer all your questions on how to use your site best.
